Niklas is the CFO of Fonus and Familjens Jurist. He has worked as CFO in several service organizations, such as SAS, Realcom, and SL. Beyond finance, he has spent a lot of time on operational management and development.
Fonus is Sweden’s only nationwide funeral service. Familjens Jurist is Sweden’s largest platform for legal advice for private individuals. All profit is reinvested into the business to make it even better for clients, employees, and society at large.
Besides the funeral service and Familjens Jurist, Fonus Ekonomisk Förening also manages several other well-known brands, such as Vita Arkivet, Fondkistan, Bouppteckna.se, and Farväl.se. The common goal of all these businesses is to make everyday life more secure for people and to be a support in life’s big decisions.
The organization has a total yearly turnover of 1.5 billion SEK, distributed across 950 employees and 300 offices. Ownership is cooperative, involving approximately 1,124 organizations across Sweden.
Since Fonus operates nationwide with more than 300 offices and 950 employees from north to south, they have a large supplier base with many local suppliers. This can be particularly challenging when the ambition is to execute large-scale, nationwide procurements.
